Analog Digital Service

Equipment and Process Explained

This section deals with the equipment used in our transfer process of Records (vinyl, LP's) to CD or to a digital file. Using only high quality turntables mounted with Grado or Audio Technica cartridges as the source

vinyl restoration starts with this:

The CTP-2000 offers incredible specs, the warmth of expensive tube preamps and delivers a perfectly flat signal to the computer; ideal for transferring to CD. For the first time you can actually get close to what the producer heard when your favorite recordings were played in the studio. This isn't just theoretical mumbo-jumbo this is the newest and best phono preamp developed for analog to digital transfers. You get a wonderful flat signal and you get the warmth of an expensive tube preamp (our favorite 12AX7 Telefunken is used). And remember, this is a FLAT preamp. There is no RIAA built in. Instead we use the near perfect curve in our software to make your records sound like they are supposed to sound.
